Custom article development
I started designing reader experiences by conceptualizing and coding custom article presentations. Using HTML, CSS and JavaScript, I crafted unique article layouts that went beyond standard templates to offer readers a more engaging and immersive experience.
As the visual designer and web developer, I collaborated with newsroom editors, reporters and photographers to enhance how these articles were presented to readers, with a focus on emphasizing strong visuals and the emotion behind stories.
Developing these custom articles influenced my approach to designing digital products — it reinforced the importance of the reader experience and crafting solutions that meet both editorial and audience needs.
